Re: Random Art

hummm... just a thought, any interest in doing some textures for a 3d game mesh?

iv had these base humans knocking around for a few years and never bothered finishing them, could look really good with your style painted on

its not that i want/need them for anything... but, hey.. you may actually want to try it.

Re: Random Art

That will be tons of fun, actually; when I have the time, I'll definitely take a crack at them.
Haven't tried painting over 3D models before. I'm reading a book on texturing in Photoshop at the moment, but my skills in it aren't yet anywhere near raised-fist-worthy.

Re: Random Art

In the new Photoshop CS3 you can actually import 3D objects into photoshop and work them in a 3D environment. Check it out and you'll fall in love with it

Re: Random Art

thats prety cool, only ever seen that inside 3d apps before.

i mark everything out like that, then do the actual painting flat personally, but... thats mainly coz blenders 3d paint tool is rather weak.

gimme a shout when you want to have a crack at it and/or if you need any advice/tips/knowlage ... i.e.. what is/how to use a spec channel, normal maps, whatever
